Entry: SurfW/Guy Fawkes Day! Nov 5, 2007

HAPPY GUY FAWKES DAY, THE END OF THE LAROUCHIES, SOME REALLY GREAT LINKS TODAY!

There are times when I wish I could be on the other side of this computer, standing next to you and prodding you to make sure "you click on that link". A link so outrageous, but true that if you click on no other link today, this one is it. This is one of those times. It holds to all the links today.

Europe has a new TV channel. Devoted to death!  http://entertainment.timesonline.co.uk/tol/arts_and_entertainment/tv_and_radio/article2788631.ece

Pop open a beer or grab a coffee depending on where you live because here comes yet another one. Ten years ago after protests from Sanrio who had licensed it, the HELLO KITTY VIBRATOR was taken off the market. In a previous post I posted the new Hello Kitty vibrator set, here is the return of the original banned vibrator- in four colors incluing in black. (The original was pink)
The original was pink, and is now highly collectable!
. Now not only will you see pics of the thing, but you can read a really funny piece (and responses) about it. When you send this one to your friends, no one will believe it!  http://www.kittyhell.com/2007/11/04/hello-kitty-vibrator-reborn/

TV channels are appearing on the net now, as people begin to view their computer use as an extension of Television. But that also means we get this cool TV channel- the Single Malt Scotch channel. I am a single malt Scotch fan, and an entire channel devoted to nothing but Single Malt Scotch brings a tear to my eye. Ain't life grand? http://singlemalt.tv/

Ok so let's review. Death TV, Single Malt Internet TV, Hello Kitty vibrator. If only that was all there was. But it isn't. A UK paper that points out the deaths from circumcision, and the debate over whether to stop the practice for newly born boys. Even the responses are good on this one. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/health/article2761868.ece

Now that we have a momentum going, let's take a look at the world's most expensive junk food!

Lyndon Larouche's group has hit the skids. It started with the suicide of its printer, debts and shady financial dealings. No more books and magazines with their strange beliefs, they are reduced to using KINKO'S to print now. A fascinating article http://www2.washingtonmonthly.com/features/2007/0711.klein.html

There are CD's, before that 33 1/3 and 45 vinyl, before that in the early 20th Century there were 78's. Here you will find over 700 of the earliest and rarest recordings ever made of jazz, blues, hillbilly and more. All in MP 3 format  http://www.honkingduck.com/78s/

Now, to close this out we need  a cool item. How about the USB Ferris Wheel Telephone stand? It moves and plays music

BEST SITE OF THE DAY:
It is hard not to like Ron Paul. He may have no chance of winning, but his ideas do. A return to the Constitution and the legislature deciding when to go to war was meant as a safe guard against a President holding all the cards. A return to the Constitution sounds pretty good. Apparently, 18,000+ Ron Paul supporters have committed to donating $100 each today, as well as launching a large-scale internet 'media' blitz to gain some recognition.

They chose today, November 5th, Guy Fawkes day for its symbolism. http://www.thisnovember5th.com/
