We've all heard about celebs who haven't let dyslexia hold them back — Tom Cruise and Cher, to name two. Then there is Paul Orfalea, the man who founded Kinko's.

As Orfalea points out in his memoir, Copy This!, "Not many kids manage to flunk the second grade, but I did."  http://www.usatoday.com/money/books/reviews/2005-10-03-copy-this-usat_x.htm

Inside the sanctuary of the abbey of St. Sixtus of Westvleteren is a beer lover's dream and a businessman's nightmare.

Piety, not profit, is what these monks seek. The St. Sixtus monks break every rule in Business 101 except attention to quality. And therein may lie the secret of their success in brewing a beer that some rank among the world's best and that is so hard to get there's a black market for it.

Computer-generated portraits of Tutankhamun in an exhibit coming to Fort Lauderdale's Museum of Art in December have sparked criticism and protests by black activists who say they depict the boy king as white.

Researchers hired by the National Geographic Society, one of the exhibit's sponsors, say current forensic data and recent CT scans of his mummy were used to create the images.

African scholars and black activists dispute the portrayal and predict protests when the show moves here like those that have occurred in Los Angeles. The debate is similar to the question of whether Jesus was black.  http://www.orlandosentinel.com/orl-tut2505sep25,0,5185973.story?coll=orl-home-headlines

Cleopatra has for long been considered the epitome of beauty and she used her looks to seduce Julius Ceasar and Mark Antony for power. But a newly discovered stone slab depicts her as a man raising speculations about her being a crossdresser.

A relief image carved about 2050 years ago on an ancient Egyptian stone slab shows Cleopatra dressed as a man, recent analysis shows. http://www.newkerala.com/news.php?action=fullnews&id=25725

BEST SITE OF THE DAY:

Among the greatest of the Ancient Olympic boxers – indeed one -of the greatest Olympic athletes –was Theagenes of Thasos. A boxer, pankratist (no-holds barred fighting) and runner, Theagenes captured the boxing title at the 75th Olympiad in 480 BC, and, four years later, he won the Pankration (no-holds-barred) title. Like all Olympic champions, Theagenes’ victories offered him immortality, and mythology was soon to follow..
