ROBBERS PICK THE WRONG NIGHT: BIKER NIGHT!, NATALIE PORTMAN IS EVEN HOTTER THAN WE THOUGHT!, FINALLY- GLOBAL WARMING DEBATE FROM BOTH SIDES, IBIZA: PARTY CAPITOL OF EARTH!
The director of a Norwegian museum claims to have found cartoons drawn by Adolf Hitler during the Second World War.
Lisa Kezios sends us this:
Dear Readers...
Along with many friends, I've felt frustrated in recent years trying to reconcile wildly opposed claims about global warming. In order to advance better understanding, Doug Campbell and I have created a new website. If global warming issues interest you, we invite you to visit Climate Debate Daily.

BOARDING GATE is the new Asia Argento movie. Asia Argento plays sexy ex-prostitute Sandra, who is forced to flee London after a steamy S&M encounter with a debt ridden ex-lover (Michael Madsen) ends in violence. Fleeing to Hong Kong in search of a fresh start, she becomes involved with an attractive young couple, Lester (Carl Ng) and Sue (Kelly Lin), who promise to help her obtain papers and money.

This comes to us from Lisa Kezios:
Two masked and machete-wielding men who barged into a club in Sydney, Australia, couldn't have picked a worse night for their robbery -- a monthly meeting of bikers.
The robbers chose the wrong night to burst into the club where the Southern Cross Cruiser Club have their monthly meeting. About 50 burly bikers fought back with tables and chairs -- pretty much anything that wasn't bolted down. One would-be robber was tied up; the other in the hospital.
Police arrested both.
"These guys were absolutely dumb as bricks," Jerry Vancornewal, leader of the bikers, told CNN Thursday. "I can't believe they saw all the bikes parked up front and they were so stupid that they walked past in." http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/02/28/biker.meeting/index.html

I have to admit, my understanding and respect of Paris Hilton actually increased after watching PARIS HILTON, INC. Ever wonder how she makes money (and she makes an incredible amount world wide that Americans don't know about), well, you may think differently about Paris after watching this too. By the way, on her own right now, she is worth 250 million dollars. Most of that is from abroad. Damn.
This documentary on Marc Bolan, originally shown on BBC 4, has been timed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the teen idols tragic death in a car crash. Narrated by fellow glam-rock star Suzi Quatro, it examines Bolans childhood ambitions of fame and where it led him, using previously lost TV and radio interviews, rediscovered Top of the Pops recordings, unseen concert footage and unique home movies.

A dramatised documentary following the experiences of Henry Metelmann, a German soldier caught up in the most destructive conflict in history - Hitlers invasion of Russia. The film travels the route that Metelmann and his fellow soldiers took and sees how the choices he made meant he emerged from the war a brutalised man. The film is Metalmanns confession delivered in mostly dramatised scenes from his life at war, intercut with archive clips and contemporary reflections. http://openflv.com/watch?v=NjI2ODY4MQ==&p=0

In just ten years following his emigration to the United States as a laborer in 1917, Marcus Garvey rose to lead the largest black organization in history, was taken to prison in handcuffs. Writer and filmmaker Alain Robbe-Grillet, an "enfant terrible" of France's literary establishment who helped found the New Novel school in the 1950s, died on Monday aged 85, his publishers said.
Robbe-Grillet became a cult figure among France's postwar intelligentsia with a genre of novel-writing that rejected conventions such as plot, characterization and emotion.
It effectively launched a type of semi-philosophical fiction in which nothing much happens but a vast amount is noticed, imagined or thought. http://www.reuters.com/article/filmNews/idUSL184620420080219?sp=true

If I have to get old, I want to do it in Paris.
It's not because of the dank weather, the constant personal snubs or a fetish for unpasteurized cheese. It's because, quite frankly, I'd like to keep having sex.
In the United States, my odds would be grim. Through our 40s, we American women manage to arrange romps on a fairly regular basis. But the latest national statistics show that by our 50s, a third of us haven't had sex in the last year. By our 60s, nearly half have gone sexless in the previous year. Once we hit our 70s, most of us might as well hang up an "out of business" sign.
So much for the gym-bodied baby boomers who promised to make 60 the new 40, using Botox as an aphrodisiac. Among today's 50-plus women, the problem of sexlessness is as bad or worse than it was for older women two decades ago.

HAVE SEX WITH A CARTOON CHARACTER, SPIDERS ON DRUGS, IS CASTRO DEAD?, THE $140,OOO HOT WHEELS CAR, ARE SUPERDELEGATES DEMOCRATIC?, DID OBAMA BORROW HIS SLOGAN?
At 3 am in the morning Cuba announced that Castro had stepped down as leader of Cuba. This seemed like an odd time to announce both this act and a quickly devised election. Could it be that Castro is dead? What is Castro's story anyway? Read this article for facts no Western publications will print when the announcement of his death is finally made. (When was the last time the press mentioned Castro's plot to bomb department stores in NYC - and blame the Russians, thus starting a nuclear war?).
This $140,000 Hot Wheels car is allegedly the most expensive toy car in the world, created to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Mattel's tiny cars and show why Humanity has way too much free time. Why is it so expensive? As you can see in the glittery images, it is all about the 23-carat bling-bling.
The press only just began mentioning the Superdelegate process. Hillary may lose primary after primary, but she still leads in superdelegates. She can still get the nomination even without the primary votes! Is this really democratic? Or backroom shenannigans?

In a Washington Post column, Darius Rejali, author of Torture and Democracy, explains why five beliefs about torture are wrong. In a Harper's interview, he answers six questions. "Yes, torture does migrate, and there are some good examples of it both in American and French history. The basic idea here is that soldiers who get ahead torturing come back and take jobs as policemen, and private security, and they get ahead doing the same things they did in the army. And so torture comes home. Everyone knows waterboarding, but no one remembers that it was American soldiers coming back from the Philippines that introduced it to police in the early twentieth century."
When the Cherokee Indians issued these words: "the Cherokees, long divided in opinion, became unanimous, and like their brethren, the Creeks, Seminoles, Choctaws, and Chickasaws, determined, by the undivided voice of a General Convention of all the people, held at Tahlequah, on the 21st day of August, in the present year, to make common cause with the South and share its fortunes.", they decided to join the South against the North in the War Between The States. What were the reasons they had? Read this, and be surprised..... http://lincolntruth.blogdrive.com/archive/cm-02_cy-2008_m-02_d-20_y-2008_o-0.html

The following is Nine Websites You Should Know About, But Probably Don't.
Sen. Clinton's new scramble for money -- as well as her campaign's declaration that it is prepared to override the will of the elected Democratic delegates if necessary to secure the nomination -- raise the question of just how far Bill and Hillary Clinton are willing to go to achieve their presidential restoration. Democrats fear that the Clintons are putting their personal ambitions ahead of what's good for the Party and the country, that they are ready to dirty up Sen. Obama with attack ads and dismiss his millions of supporters as -- what one key Clinton backer called -- "a cult of personality."
If the Clintons overturn the majority will, the Democratic convention in Denver could bring to mind the infamous Chicago convention in 1968 when the Democratic establishment imposed its favored candidate, Vice President Hubert Humphrey, on a rebellious rank-and-file, contributing to the election of Republican Richard Nixon. http://www.alternet.org/module/printversion/77287

Jammin' the Blues is a 1944 short film in which several prominent jazz musicians got together for a rare filmed jam session. It features Lester Young, Red Callender, Harry Edison, Marlowe Morris, Sid Catlett, Barney Kessel, Joe Jones, John Simmons, Illinois Jacquet, Marie Bryant, Archie Savage and Garland Finney. For some, this is their only known appearance in a theatrical film. Barney Kessel is the only white performer in the film. He was seated in the shadows to shade his skin, and for closeups, his hands were stained with berry juice.
