Playing on January 26, 1977, Talking Heads were still about nine months shy from the release of their debut album, 77, but the group already had their intellectually stimulating and frenzied, staccato sound patented down. This audience[?] recording is magnificent, real close to the stage so no echoes. Who knows, maybe this was recorded on stage? What stands out is how this does not sound like a Ramones concert but is Joey showing variety, enjoying himself plus delivering a punch for abortion rights. Example, he gets to sing Fascists Don't F**k, They Just Screw, written, he says for this show but never recorded by The Ramones. This is the only performance of this song.

Harley Warrick, 76, who was among a dozen sign painters who advertised the joys of chewing tobacco on the side of thousands of Appalachian and Midwestern barns, died November 24 in Wheeling, WVA.
