Science fiction fans are socially dysfunctional, bookish nerds with a tendency to dress up in Star Trek uniforms and exchange greetings in Klingon. They are invariably male and have little sense of personal hygiene. Or so the popular stereotype would have us believe. Like most cultural generalisations, this is about as accurate as the claims that all women are less intelligent than men, people remain unemployed because they are lazy, and all Liverpudlians are light-fingered. Nevertheless, stereotypes abide, sometimes through prejudice, but mostly through ignorance and a negative, simplistic perception of the genre itself.

Some people collect postal stamps; Exit Mundi collects scenarios of what could go wrong with the world. Sure, our planet could get hit by an asteroid. But hey, that's nothing. Did you know we could all be munched away by hungry molecules? Or that our physicists could unintentionally wipe us all out while tinkering with particles? `Oops, sorry...'

Exit Mundi isn't in it for doom preaching, but strictly for fun. It's a fascinating thought: if that &*%#-comet didn't wipe out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago, we wouldn't be here pondering about apocalypses and armageddons in the first place. The dinosaurs roamed our planet millions of years longer than we did. If it wasn't for the comet, they still would.

That's why this site is a tribute to floods, quantum explosions and awfully big chunks of space rock falling out of the sky. If there's a lesson to be learnt, it should be that within every end looms the dawn of a new beginning.

Quite often the antagonist of the werewolf belief (and of werewolves themselves), is the Catholic church and its larger outgrowth of christianity in general. Through the church's inquisitions, tortures, and writings, the church has taught western culture of the "inherent" evil of werewolves. The werewolf was commonly believed to be the descendant of Cain or a monstrocity created by selling one's soul to the devil. Even today, the church in it's many forms views werewolves as the incarnate of evil, but there is one whom they've forgot.

The secret is much deeper in the church than mere converts and warriors. The secret is in the single name of Christopher.Saint Christopher is the patron saint of travelers and seafarers. He is fairly well known in western tradition.But the greatest secret of all is that Saint Cristopher is a Cynocephali, a dog-head, a werewolf!

The notoriety of Abu Ghraib was enough to chill the fervor of even the most revolutionary citizens. It was said that thousands of men and women were crammed into tiny cells and that abuse, torture, and executions were daily occurrences. The regime tested chemicals and biological weapons on the inmates, and some prisoners were given nothing but scraps of shredded plastic to eat. Chunks of flesh were torn from the bodies of some prisoners and then force-fed to others. Gruesome tortures involving power tools and hungry dogs were routine, and thousands of people who entered the doors of that fearsome place were never heard from again. It was known that mass graves existed around the country, and it was known in general terms where they were situated; but of course nobody dared to hunt out the final resting places of those poor men and women who had become victims of the enthusiastic guards at Abu Ghraib, for fear of becoming one of their number.
